I started this blog to inspire and to be inspired by contact with other photographers whether beginners or professional. I welcome tips, constructive criticism and hope to have open dialog that is beneficial to all.

Hurricane Ridge,Olympic National Park
Though impossible to see in this image, it was in the 30's with very high wind and sleet. This gave me an opportunity to use a trick I read about for protecting your camera. You use one of those cheap shower caps, that are in some hotel bathrooms. Take it and put it over the back of your camera and use a gum band to secure it to the front of the lens, you can still see in the view finder and work the controls. It was surprising how many people asked me where I got it.
