Hoh Rainforest, Olympic National Park
While hiking in the Hoh Rainforest I came to a spot where the sun was breaking through the canopy and lighting this small bunch of Ferns. The light lasted only a few minutes, just long enough to set up my tripod and get the shot. The image was a little to dark in the surrounding trees, so in Adobe Camera Raw I brought out the shadows slightly which lessened the contrast a bit.
