I fell in love with the colors at Yellowstone National Park, from the turquoise pools to the yellow and orange hot springs. Shortly before arriving at the park my camera took a spill snapping off my wide angle lens, fortunately the camera survived, the lens did not. During this trip to the park I was forced to use my long lens causing me to view the park a little differently that I would have with a wide angle lens.
This spring in Yellowstone really caught my eye, the colors, the contrast, and the trees the fell prey to the toxic minerals. The weather was beautiful this particular day, the light was great. I was surprised at the small number of people at many of the pull offs. I hope to publish a few more images of the park in the near future.
