Most people, including me, look into a sunset to get a picture, but sometimes the best image is 180 degrees the other way. The sunset can bath this direction with a warm glow, that saturates colors and gives the image a surreal feel. This shot was opposite the sunset and about 15 minutes after it disappeared over the horizon. Long exposures, can make interesting images, that have an other worldly
look. This photo was taken with a Nikon D80 mounted on a tripod (a must in this situation). Photos of people and animals in this light can be very flattering. it can warm skin tones and soften features. So in conclusion, always turn around to see what you might be missing. I would also like to mention that this image is of the now drained, Glade Run Lake.
Gorgeous! I love this one Rick!
