Glade Run Lake

The above two images are of a lake that no longer exists, Glade Run Lake Park. It was located just off Rt. 228 outside of Saxonburg PA. This is the place I learned to fish and where I taught my kids to fish.Though a small lake, it was a great lose to the area when it was drained.  The powers that be claim there  is not enough money to repair the dam. It is my hope that it can be repaired for future generations of young fishermen to give the sport a try.
