Canyon De Chelly, Arizona
The Canyon De Chelly is in northeast Arizona and is an amazing place. It was home to the Pueblo people until 1300, then was inhabited by the Hopi, and finally the Navajos until present time. This ruin is know as the white house because of the whitewash finish of the building in the alcove. There are several ruins through out the canyon which can be viewed from the rim. If you wish to see this ruin up close it is about a mile hike each way and the rest of the ruins can only be viewed up close on a tour into the canyon.
