Well she back again, this image was made with the old show, The Little Rascals in mind....hence the title. This shot was almost black & white anyways so I desaturated it a little more and added a slight sepia tint. Most people prefer an image with a smile, but I have always liked the serious expressions.
I started this blog to inspire and to be inspired by contact with other photographers whether beginners or professional. I welcome tips, constructive criticism and hope to have open dialog that is beneficial to all.

Lilly's first Christmas
Look who's on my Blog again. This image was taken for a Christmas card. I softened the print and added a slight sepia tint, I love the antique feel from this treatment. Infant photography can be rather easy if you want them sleeping, but if you want to catch them with their eyes open it maybe a little tougher. Credit must be given to my Daughter Kacey for making the Christmas hat. Also today is

Lilly at the Park, Kittanning
This image was taken at Riverfront Park in Kittanning. The little sweetheart is my granddaughter Lilly; she may show up on this blog from time to time. The shot was taken on an overcast day without a tripod. Several of the images were slightly fuzzy, but I got lucky and this one was sharp. The photos on the LCD screen all looked sharp; it can be difficult see this on the camera. When hand holding, the slowest shutter speed should be no slower than the length of the lens: such as 100mm at 1/100 of a second. The colors were slightly desaturated and a light sepia tint was added before printing to give it a feeling of age.

Lilly
This image is of my Granddaughter at about 10 days old. She is the joy of my life, and I could hold her all the time. The shot was one of the first in my little studio and was originally taken in color,
later it was converted to black & white with a slight sepia tint.
