Seals at La Jolla, CA

Seals catching sun at La Jolla Beach. There is a lot of  debate over this beach at La Jolla; many people believe the Seals should be scooted away so people have more use of the beach, and others feel the seals were there first. As a visitor I felt it was amazing to see them lying all over the beach and was not planning on swimming anyway. This was taken with a Nikon D80 & Tamron 28-300 lens, using a fast shutter speed to freeze the breaking wave.

The cliffs were shot at sunset which lit the rock with a beautiful light.
