Yosemite Valley

This was my favorite view of  Yosemite Park, although we did miss Tunnel View and Glacier Point, guess will save that for another trip. This image was photographed using a polarizing filter to deepen the blue in the sky and to green up the foliage a little.  My intention was to convert this image to black and white, but when I opened the photo on the computer  the color had me. I believed  when I went to Yosemite I would  see it in black and white and tones as did Ansel Adams, but I was drawn to the color. I guess we all have our own vision, and in this case mine was in color.
