Photographing Children

When Photographing children, I usually start with a pose just to get them in line with the background I want, but in the end I let them be themselves and work around their energy or in the one image lack of it. Kids are tough to get posed in one place, so just go with the flow. With children keep your photos light and bright, I also prefer a soft feel to the image (not out of focus). This collage is of a sweet little girl I have photographed several times during the last 2 and one half years. She is always a joy and full of energy.
